Stones in a wall at North Elmham cathedral

I love looking at ancient stone walls. Here are some pictures of stones from the ruined walls of North Elmham cathedral in Norfolk.

Small green plants survive amongst the hard stone and drink in the sunlight.

When I visited North Elmham  Cathedral in the summer I couldnt work out if it was an old cathedral ruin or a chapel or a castle.

Still, it was very beautiful all the same.

North Elmham Cathedral is six miles north of Dereham on the B1110.
