A chance for some quality quiet time at Gamlingay Church

I have just received from Steve Rothwell, Vicar at Gamlingay ( c 5 miles from St Neots)  information about a splendid quiet day being held at his church on December 12th.

I think its a brilliant idea especailly when there is so much business around these next three weeks…

St Mary’s Church at Gamlingay:

Monday December 12th 2010

Timetable for the day:

9.30am – Morning Prayer

12.00pm – Eucharist

8.00pm – Compline

There will be prayers/reflections/readings on the hour at 11am, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm, 7pm.

This will be an opportunity for those who wish to spend time in quiet reflection in the lead-up to Christmas.

Please feel free to come and go as you wish throughout the day. The day will conclude after Compline.

Tea and coffee will be available throughout the day in church.
