Gauge 1 Garden Railway Open Day at Little Paxton – June 4th 2011

This coming saturday there is a rare chance to see a splendid Gauge 1 model railway in a  Little Paxton garden.

Mrs Pauline Keatley is opening up her garden in memory of her late husband David who died earlier this year

David created the railway  when he and Pauline moved to their Boardman Close home two years ago from Somersham and much of the display had been moved form their Somersham garden. There are steam locomotives and carriages, some charming scenes and model buildings and the job of looking after the railway andrunning it for special events has now fallen to Pauline’s grandchildren.

14 Boardman Close in Little Paxton ( near to the south side of St James Church) will be open from 2-5pm with a raffle and refreshments available including ice-creams. All proceeds will be going to the Little Paxton Church For Tomorrow Appeal.
