CHUFT chuffs on……

Bit late for a pun, but our Little Paxton Church For Tomorrow Appeal ( CHUFT) chuffed on nicely yesterday with the Open Railway afternoon at Pauline’s home in Boardman Close, Little Paxton

In memory of her late husband  David who designed the railway and who sadly  died earlier this year,  over 100 people came to enjoy the  Gauge 1   trains chugging their way round the garden  layout.   There  were some delicious cream teas to go with the viewing and overall c £360 was made for the CHUFT appeal – a splendid result.

Here are some pictures:

On the right lines….

Very happy ladies ( and a gentleman) adding up the proceeds… ( Pauline is on the far left)

Our greateful thanks to Pauline and her family for the splendid afternoon and thanks you to everyone who helped. Cream teas are my one BIG weakness!
