Open Garden at Paxton Place, Great Paxton May 22nd

Its a busy week-end in our area – not only scarecrows at Little Paxton but an Open Garden afternoon in Great Paxton at Paxton Place.

Paxton Place is the Old Vicarage on the right of the village as you leave to go to the Offords and the house stands in some lovely grounds withmany plant species and shrubs, a woodland walk and lawns. There will be cream teas on sale and plant and cake stalls. The gardens are opening by kind permission of Mr David Ramply and admission will be £2.50 at the gate. All proceeds will be going to Holy Trinity Church, Great Paxton. Open from 2pm to 5.30pm – guaranteed  not to rain!

Scarecrows in Little Paxton Village

There are over 30 scarecrows in Little Paxton Village this year – and here is a small selection of them for your enjoyment. Of course,they are much better close up so why not have a morning or afternoon out in Little Paxton this Saturday May 21st and enjoy them around the village and the stalls and games on the playing fields both morning and afternoon….
